A Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) is a floating production platform used by Shapoorji Pallonji O&G to produce, process and store oil and gas. For its construction, Europe Steel Projects supplied a complete package of 1,651 tonnes of offshore-grade steel beams, plates and pipes from stock ex-mill to Singapore.
One-stop-shop
ESP’s major added value in this project included the one-stop-shop solution we offered our client. For the complete structural steel package, we handled the procurement of different steel grades and materials from our own extensive stock and from new production from various steel mills in Europe, according to European standards and including the required documentation.
Service from delivery to logistics
Our logistics also met the high project requirements. We handled project marking and inspections on the steel products and transported the entire steel package to its final destination in Singapore. Consequently, our client praised our role in sourcing and shipping from the different mills and stock locations in Europe.
