Quality steel subsea
Europe Steel Center’s quality steel plays an important role in this project for ENI in subsea flowlines and risers. These subsea pipelines are used to connect the subsea wellhead to a manifold or to the floating production system.
From inquiry to delivery
From the early stages of the project, we advised our client on the availability of materials, material qualities and dimensions. The Europe Steel Projects project team involved informing the client on the technical possibilities and equivalent material grades, compared to the project specification.

With plates from our own stock and deliveries from third parties, we were able to serve our client quickly. To meet the high standards of the project specification, we performed additional testing on the materials such as ultrasonic testing, Charpy V and chemical analysis tests.
Furthermore, we ensured a successful project with accurate inspections, project documentation and checking and marking of all materials for full traceability.
