Sustainability as a goal

Europe Steel Center is working on all fronts to ensure a sustainable future for our employees, our company, our planet and our society. To this end, we have set sustainability goals based on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which are integrated into our core themes and translated into KPIs. This is how we make targeted and measurable sustainable impact. Towards a sustainable future, a healthy planet and an inclusive society with work and equal opportunities for all.

Sustainable steel solutions

With first choice and high-quality grades of certified steel, mainly from Europe, we supply steel our clients can rely on. We also have the ability to supply green steel in beam and plate.

Socially responsible

In our charity policy, we focus on social and sustainable causes for various organisations in the categories of people, culture, health and poverty. Every month, an employee chooses a new charity to which Europe Steel Center provides financial support.

Circular production

We reuse as much as possible in our production process. All scrap remaining after the cutting process is fully recycled and used in the production of new steel. Our broken pallets go to a timber merchant, who reuses them in furniture. We separate paper and cardboard from all other waste streams and deliver it to a paper merchant who recycles it.

We invest in innovative technology that reduces the environmental impact of our steel production and ensures low-carbon production processes. We maintain a focus on recycling steel and waste streams, which saves energy and reduces the demand for new raw materials. With Europe Steel Center, we want to continue to comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations now and in the future, contribute socially to our society, ensure a safe and valued working environment and strengthen our position as a sustainable steel company.

CO2 reduced steel from stock

Due to strong partnerships with a real impact Europe Steel Center is setting a strong example for sustainability by using CO₂-reduced Greentec steel for offshore applications, an important step towards a climate-neutral future.

Thanks to our strong partnerships Europe Steel Center is a well- established supplier of green steels and has a specific offer of stock material especially for the offshore sector
